Critics say not only allows iran to cheat, but invites them to do so. Laying out a clear, bright path for iran to develop an atomic weapon, while lavishing iran with tens of billions of dollars to buy weapons and to fund terrorism. We take up what is to happen next with this deal, which should be a treaty with republican congressman lee zelden. Also tonight, the once inevitable Hillary Clinton continues her precipitous fall in the polls. The democratic frontrunner facing negative headlines in recent days from benghazi to email scandal to falling approval ratings. How does she top all of that . How about a hair cut that costs more than the average American Worker makes in a week . Also tonight robert kraft, owner of the new England Patriots, one of the nfls most respected and powerful owners firing back at nfl, and make his contempt for Roger Goodell absolutely clear. It may well be that goodells job hangs in the balance. Well discuss whats next as it becomes clear that goodells handling of deflategate has actually started a civil war among the barons of professional football. Our top story tonight, republican critics blasting the Iranian Nuclear deal on capitol hill. And the Obama Administration only adding to its image of incompetence and ineptitude, giving congress and the American People more reasons to worry. Listen to the stunning admissions by our secretary of Defense Ash Carter and chairman of the joint chiefs of staff general Martin Dempsey. Do you, secretary carter, believe that iran will change its behavior as a result, if this agreement is finalized . And have you seen any indication of that . I have not, mr. Chairman, and speaking just from my own judgment, i dont foresee that or have any reason to foresee that. That is why its important the agreement be verifiable. You said under no circumstances should we relieve pressure on iran on those issues. So was it your military recommendation that we not agree to lifting of those sanctions . Yes, and i use the phrase as long as possible, and then that was the point at which the negotiation continued. Yes, that was my military advice. Lou stunning. President obamas negotiations with iran only part of the rising number of Foreign Policy challenges that face this administration. Fox news correspondent Doug Mckelway with our report. Reporter the afghan governments timing of announcement the taliban leader of mullah omar died two years ago was curious. It came two days before new round of peace talks with the taliban. The one eyed omar led the 10year long uncertainty of the troops. The white house urged the talks to continue not knowing who the real taliban leader is. The United States does continue to support an afghan led and afghan owned reconciliation process as the surest way to end violence in the region. Reporter marks Foreign Policy headache for the Obama Administration which came under fire in a senate hearing. Republicans are livid over what they call a side deal in the iran nuclear agreement, allows iran to choose its own soil samples for inspection. All i can say is first of all, i personally have not seen the documents. Which is astounding to be honest with you. Absolutely astounding that you have not seen the documents that are about requirement for verification. Reporter the white house pushed back noting the side deal is a standard classified clause often included in agreements between iaea and individual states. There is no side deal, no secret deals between the p5 1 and iran. Reporter the administration is saying the deal is a good one. Secretary of state john kerry is headed there next week. Defense secretary ash carter just returned. He tried to convince senators the Nuclear Genie will be kept in the bottle. Overwhelming array of forces into the region. Married with sophisticated munitions that put no target out of reach. Reporter and lou, late today, the president tried to bolster support for the Iran Nuclear Deal by inviting House Democrats to the east room for an informal teteatete. Nancy pelosi, the House Minority leader described the meeting as very productive. House republicans will need 43 democratic defections in order to override that threatened president ial veto. Lou, back to you. Lou doug, thank you very much. Extraordinary. The negotiators not reading the documents that theyre inviting our congress to approve in which the United Nations has already approved. Doug, terrific reporting. Thank you. The Senate Armed Services committee today not the only hearing on capitol hill featuring blistering attacks on the administration. Republicans on the Senate Oversight subcommittee going after irs commissioner John Koskinen over what they see as arrogant and indifferent attitude on the part of the leaders of the irs to ward the irs targeting scandal. Fox news chief Congressional Correspondent mike emanuel with our report. Reporter with conservatives concerned about accountability, texas senator and president ial candidate ted cruz convened a subcommittee hearing grilling commissioner John Koskinen. In the 806 days that have followed, has anyone been indicted . No. Has anyone been fired . There have been, at this point, the five major people starting with the commission or down through the director of exempt organizations are all new. Everyone else is gone. Reporter blamed the targeting on a broken Campaign Finance system. Rather than trying to score political points by distorting a set of unfortunate but basically honest mistakes by civil servants, we should instead ask ourselves the question how is it we have all allowed such an irrational system continue to exist . Reporter koskinen took over the irs seven months after the scandal broke. This is first visit to capitol hill since House Oversight republicans sent the 30page letter to president obama monday demanding he be removed from job as commissioner. Lawmakers say koskinen had a duty to preserve and produce approximately 24,000 emails from former official lois lerner and note the irs failed to do so. Today cruz made this reference to watergate. Weve destroyed the hard drives. Richard nixons ghost. Must have been smiling at that protostation. Reporter cruz drew this conclusion after lerner refused to answer questions on capitol hill. A senior official of the irs twice saying if i answer your questions, i could end up in the slammer. Reporter continued support for koskinen. Decades of experience turning around public and private institutions continue to make him the right person to lead this agency. Reporter senators also heard from representatives of conservative groups who had their lives turned upside down by extra scrutiny from the irs. Patience is wearing thin with u. S. District court judge emmitt sullivan, threatening to hold koskinen and attorneys in contempt of court for failing to produce status report and lois lerner emails. Lou . Lou mike, thank you so much. Breaking news on the deflategate scandal. We have just learned that the Nfl Players Association, on behalf of tom brady, have gone to federal court in minnesota seeking to overturn his fourgame suspension by Roger Goodell. Attorneys are asking the u. S. District court judge, to vacate the suspension or at least put it on hold until the case can be heard. Earlier today, new England Patriots owner robert kraft essentially declared war on the nfl over the fourgame suspension. Kraft called commissioner goodells decision unfathomable and blasted the league. There are those in the League Office who are more determined to prove that they were right, rather than admit any culpability of their own or take any responsibility to the initiation of a process in ensuing investigation that was flawed. Ive come to the conclusion that this was never about doing what was fair and just. Back in may, i had to make a difficult decision that i now regret. Lou kraft referring to his decision to accept a one milliondollar fine and the loss of a firstround draft pic in 2016. Well have a lot more on tom brady talking with Professor Robert bowland and Sportscaster Jim Gray among our guests. Coming right back. Stay with us. Much more ahead. President obama does what he always does when he doesnt get what he wants. Congress may consider itself properly scolded for failure to rubber stamp his Iranian Nuclear deal. Weve been disappointed thus far with their inaction. Lou we take up next steps with leading republican congressman lee zeldin. And a florida man reeling. Lou breaking news now, a u. S. Official telling the Associated Press tonight that aircraft debris just found could be from Malaysia Airlines flight 370. The debris found on a French Island in the indian ocean from a boeing 777, that is the same model aircraft as Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared last year. This wing part as you see there, about nine feet long, three feet wide, appears to be in the water for a long, long time. The island it was found on is about 4,000 miles from what was considered to be the most likely mh370 crash site. No trace has been found of the aircraft which disappeared in march last year carrying 239 passengers and crew in what is one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history. The Obama Administration continues its hard sell on its nuclear deal with iran. Dispatching secretary carter, joint chiefs chair general Martin Dempsey to the hill today. Yesterday secretary of state kerry in the hot seat, grilled by house lawmakers on why this deal, which the administration obviously thinks is important, is not being considered a treaty . I spent quite a few years trying to get a lot of treaties through the United States senate, and frankly its become physically impossible. Thats why. Because you cant pass a treaty anymore. Lou i think what he meant is he cant pass a treaty anymore. Dumbfounding. Were not going to bother with tradition, values, the constitution or the proper roles of our three branches of government. Its just too darn hard for these fellas. The last major treaty by the way to pass the senate was the start arms reduction treaty in december of 2010. Since then, the senate has passed six treaties with four passing just last year. My, my, my i wonder who does the counting for these oops, these are the same people who negotiated without knowing what was in the negotiating documents. My next guest questioned kerry why the iranian deal is not handled as a treaty. He said it was played like a four string quartet. Joining us lee zeldin. Congressman. I cant say that it was the most jaw dropping thing anyone in this administration said. But it was among them. Its just too darn hard for them to bother with the Little Things like the constitution and common sense . It was pretty shocking, actually. He was getting asked for a legal reasoning. And what secretary kerry provide was a political excuse. The reason why the Iran Nuclear Deal wouldnt pass the senate is its fundamentally flawed and they cant get twothirds of the senate to approve it, on the merits that a treaty wouldnt pass the senate like this, not on the politics. Lou yeah, i think anyone in this country understands why this should be a treaty. The importance of it, the sweep of it, the historic nature of it. Now, the next question is why in the world would anyone in that congress, in that senate, not be outraged that this president went to the United Nations first and didnt even so much as tip a hat on its way past capitol hill . Absolutely. Every member of congress. It does not matter your political party, should be prioritizing National Security over Party Loyalty. We have members, congressional democrats, who know theyre going to vote against the deal, who are saying publicly to the press theyre taking time to review the deal to have questions answered even though they know theyre going vote against the deal choosing Party Loyalty first. They should be outraged on behalf of the American Public because were letting the International Community decide before the American Public gets a chance to review, weigh in. Lou im stunned what secretary kerry said in response to your question. As i think about the fact that the side letter deals now the white house denies theyre side letter deals with the iaea and iran, but they, at the same time, say no one knows whats in these agreements that dont exist. I mean there doesnt seem to be much one can believe about anything that this administration or its representatives or its officials say. What is your thought about their credibility on all of this . Well, secretary kerry, on the credibility point, secretary kerry yesterday at the Foreign Affairs Committee Said theres no secret deal. Later acknowledging that there is a deal. The deal is secret. He hasnt reviewed it knowing the administration has, hes only been briefed on it. Later saying that congress will be briefed on it at some unknown point in the future, yet theyre rung the 60day clock. Now the clip that you played from the White House Press person, he referenced theres no secret deal, and right there the the end he says between the p5 1 and iran. He didnt say between the iaea and iran because there is a secret deal. The level of integrity right now on the part of this executive is republican loyal opposition, many of your colleagues, certainly not to you, because i dont just understand why the interest of the nation, the American People isnt represented in bald faced lying, is it not . They should be insulted by it. Especially if its their own political party. Kudos to congresswoman grace mang. She is the first House Democrat to come out against the deal. That takes real chutzpah. Kudos to her, and all the other democrats should follow suit. Senator schumer, there are leaders in the house as well, and not only coming out against the deal at end, but coming out against it now and encouraging colleagues to come against, it every single moment that passes more, comes out to light whats flawed about the deal wasnt part of the agreement. Lou if anybody needs any more than what has been revealed through questioning like yours, the statements of kerry, the energy secretary, the list goes on, i mean, i dont know what would be required. Their threshold for objection is quite high. Congressman, great to have you with us, thanks so much. Thank you. Lou congressman lee zeldin. Vote in tonights poll, the question is do you believe that they have that power . That will, and will they . Cast your vote at loudobbs. Com. A southwest florida boat captain, he was, well, reeling in a massive catch but not without a fight. Boat captain ben chancy decided he would catch this goliath grouper off the coast of stewart, florida on his paddleboard, leaving his boat behind. He was pulled off the board as he reeled in the gigantic catch, but he did it. A sevenfootlong grouper, living up to its name, goliath, weighing in at 400 pounds. Good night thats something to brag about right there. Up next, if you thought some of the nfls weak case against tom brady or a sham case . A man who had seconds to get out of a way of suv swerving wildly out of control. Thats next. Stay with us can a business have a mind . A subconscious. A knack for predicting the future. Lou if you love politics, if you love business and the science of business and politics, well, you cant help but be fascinated by deflategate. A few thoughts on the mad cap addicts of the managers atop a 10 billion visit called the nfl. Management is more than mad cap, they are truly frantic and have thrown reason to the wind and are all it seems about farce. What other business would spend precious executive time trying to entrap one of its Top Producers rather than guiding and counseling them to be certain to meet long held but not always punk tilliously respected rules about how full or light a ball may be . They create a pathetcally orchestrated and onesided sovietlike show investigation, of the legendary tom brady whose name is inextricable from the nfl shield.
