The father of a teenage boy, who was killed allegedly in an encounter by the army, has been charged with a stringent anti-terror law by police in the federal Indian territory of Jammu and Kashmir, even as the family insisted that the minor was innocent and demanded that his body be returned.
Mushtaq Ahmed Wani and six others, including his two brothers, have been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for “organising illegal processions, abetted anti-national elements and spreading disaffection against the state”, reported
