(KSLA) - Shreveport fire crews responded to a house fire in the 3800 block of Baxter Street just after 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8. The family of five, plus their five dogs, made it out safely before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported. Crews responded to the scene within five minutes, the fire department says, and the fire was under control in less than 30 minutes. The house has major fire, smoke, and water damage.
