Pics: Salim Matramkot/The Peninsula Sidi Mohamed | The Peninsula After months of restrictions and lockdown on recreational activities, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s gradual opening of amusement parks has been welcomed by families and children. Many families have since flocked to these recreational outlets in parks and malls to let their children enjoy the available facilities after months of lockdown. The recreational activities in amusement outlets and parks have been closed since March last year due to the State of Qatar’s precautionary measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The children play areas at parks were re-opened on January 3, with a 50% capacity limit.
