Falconry event at Grundy Library kicks off summer program June 19 Bucks County Courier Times The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library in Bristol Borough will kick off its summer reading program with some feathered friends. Master Falconer Tom Stanton and educator Paul McEnerney will present a live falconry program at 1 p.m. June 19 with Cleo, a Peregrine falcon, and Apache, a Harris’s hawk. The free family event starts the library's “2021 Tails & Tales Summer Quest.” The presentation will include the history of falconry, birds of prey, the importance of hawks to the ecosystem and conservation. Guests are to bring seating, a chair or blanket. Social distancing guidelines and masks worn will be required for the event.
