Ezard retained his seat with 1,601 votes against Nicole Riley, who received 366 votes — roughly 81% to 19%. “This will be my fourth term as mayor, and I think it is a bold statement by the citizens of Jacksonville to re-elect me,” Ezard said. Now that he has been re-elected, Ezard said he wants to continue to build on many of the good things he and the other council members, as well as community organizations have started.
