Everlane Will Open in University Village This Summer It's the latest in a string of big-name openings at Seattle's outdoor shopping center. By Zoe Sayler 5/3/2021 at 10:29am This way to Everlane. (And Levi's.) If the past year-or-so heightened concerns about the fate of the traditional mall, it only solidified the staying power of high-end outdoor shopping centers like University Village, where Everlane plans to open an eighth brick-and-mortar at the end of June. The ethical apparel powerhouse (branding bolstered by thoughtful factory partnerships and material sourcing) is just the latest in a series of sustainability-minded openings at U Village: Everlane's climate-conscious cool girl competitor Reformation opened its 20th North American store here in March. Beachy family brand Faherty (which recognizes the impossibility of truly sustainable garment manufacturing) just opened next to Glassybaby. For anyone looking to spend a chunk of change on new clothing without feeling totally guilty about wanton consumerism, U Village is the place to be right now.
