A 62-year-old Erie man was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats after police accused him of using a frying pan to seriously injure his brother during a domestic dispute Wednesday afternoon. Police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Parade Street, where the two men reside, at 4:01 p.m. to investigate a reported domestic disturbance. Officers arrived to find a 51-year-old, semi-conscious man on the floor inside the residence. Police arrested Robert Swiderski, 62. He was arraigned on charges that included simple assault and harassment, and was placed in the Erie County Prison on $35,000 bond. Police charge that Swiderski used a large frying pan to strike his brother four to 10 times, bending the frying pan and breaking the handle during the attack.
