Enforceability Of Emergency Arbitrator Decisions in India -

The Supreme Court held that an “award” delivered by an emergency arbitrator under SIAC Arbitration Rules constitutes an order under section 17(1) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act and would be enforceable as such.
