A routine conservation commission meeting turned into a verbal brawl this week after a letter of complaint about the future site of the Tree House Brewery was read into the record. The letter, which was written by attorney Daniel J. Bailey III on behalf of Town Neck Beach area residents living near the proposed brewery, was read into the record near the end of a three-hour long commission meeting on Wednesday night, May 6. Mr. Bailey, who was on the Zoom remote meeting, alleged in his letter that the heavy construction work taking place at 98 Town Neck Roadâin preparation for the brewery openingâwas endangering the protected wildlife areas, the coastal dune and surrounding wetlands.
