This is also one of a few tracks Eminem dropped taking aim at the Cleveland rhymer, who has reciprocated lyrical insults at Em as well. The Detroit rapper and MGK's beef stems from remarks Machine Gun Kelly made about Em's daughter, Hailie, via social media many years ago. On "Kill Shot," Eminem devotes over four minutes to poking fun at MGK's "man bun" and lack of musical accolades. The beef surrounding the track, produced by IllaDaProducer, exudes through Slim Shady's lethal penmanship, making "Killshot" the biggest YouTube debut in 2018 with 38.1 million views in the first 24 hours of its release on the video-sharing platform.
