Electoral symbols allotted to 32 parties in Azad Kashmir July 4, 2021 MIRPUR: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Election Commission has allotted electoral symbols to 32 registered political parties for general elections in AJK, which will be held on July 25. The major parties have retained their traditional symbols. According to AJK Election Commission’s Mirpur District Election Officer, Arshad Hussain, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) AJK has been allotted the cricket bat — Balla, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK Chapter, the tiger, and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) AJK, the arrow. Jammu Kashmir Liberation League has been allotted the lantern, Jamaat-e-Islami’s AJK chapter, the scale, All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference, the horse, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party, the sword, and others. Besides those, the AJK Election Commission has also allotted electoral symbols to hundreds of the independent candidates.
