Elections 2024: First hours of polling stations opening see thousands voting and political party leaders making their mark

South Africans will have until 9pm on Wednesday to make their voice heard and cast their vote in the seventh democratic elections. Voting was off to a good start on Wednesday with no serious incidents reported by 10am.
