Egypt :Beaches, coffee shops and restaurants in hotels countrywide, are exempt from applying the stipulated closing hours (9:00 pm) dictated by the Prime Ministerial
Regarding the Prime Ministerial Decree issued on May 5, 2021 regulating some commercial and entertainment activities in Egypt along the end of Ramadan and during the period of the Feast holiday, over the coming two weeks (6-21 May 2021), Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities asserted that beaches, coffee shops and restaurants in hotels countrywide, are exempt from applying the stipulated closing hours (9:00 pm) dictated by the Prime Ministerial decree.
He added that the exemption was made to ensure that the time spent by holidaymakers in Egypt, whose numbers have been on the rise, remarkably since the beginning of 2021, especially in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates, is not affected by the decree.
