TWTD revealed that the 33-year-old had been offered new terms last Thursday. The new deal will see the Trinidad and Tobago international remain at the club until at least the end of next season, while there is an option for a second year which will be triggered after the midfielder-turned-right-back makes a set number of league appearances. The summer of 2009 £1.35 million signing from Sunderland is understood to have taken a significant cut in pay from his previous deal with Town looking to reduce their overall wage bill with the Financial Fair Play rules being introduced next season.
