Editorial: Region needs fossil fuel power plants | Opinion :

Monday, a few days after the Environmental Protection Agency announced new rules that would effectively shut down most coal-burning power plants within 20 years, the Public Service Commission of West Virginia approved a siting certificate for a natural gas-burning power plant in Doddridge County. The plant would use carbon capture technology of the type that fits within the new EPA rules.
