The pop singer's abstract artwork, titled Splash Planet, went to Claire Faynor, who paid £20 for a raffle ticket. The Cancer Campaign in Suffolk (CCiS) fundraiser follows a December auction that saw Sheeran's similarly splash-painted Dab 2 sell for £40,000 in a charity benefit. Sheeran, 30, remarked in a video message for the recent raffle: "The painting is one of mine, one of the big splashy ones that you saw in the Afterglow cover." "I painted a canvas a day for 30 days. It was really fun. It's kind of Jackson Pollocky," Sheeran said in an earlier interview.
