Eastern Shore Delegate Chris Adams to serve as House minority whip The Shore Republican will serve as minority whip, the second-in-command to the House minority leader. Adams, whose district includes Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot and Wicomico counties, will take over the position from Delegate Kathy Szeliga (R-Baltimore & Harford counties). "I am honored to have this opportunity to serve," Adams said in a statement provided by the Republican caucus. "There are many challenges we face, but our Caucus is driven by challenge, and we will rise to the occasion," he said. "We are ready to build on the many successes our previous leadership team has given us."
