Anne Eadie has stepped aside as Mayor of Kincardine.
She announced her resignation at the end Wednesday’s Council meeting.
In a statement, Eadie says it has been a privilege to serve all residents and ratepayers in the Municipality in the ten years she has served as Deputy Mayor and Mayor.
She goes on to say local politics is about cooperating to make decisions that best serve our local community and hopes that will continue to be the main focus of Council.
Eadie’s last day as Mayor is Friday.
