I want a blue cross welcome to the program facing possible defeat us President Donald Trump is doubling down again making false and baseless claims that he was robbed of victory in the u. S. President ial election which wrapped up just 48 hours ago the Trump Campaign has launched legal action claiming fraud trying to stop counts in some states but state of Election Officials say there is 0 evidence of any wrongdoing to the contrary counting is proceeding largely smoothly across the country heres some of what donald trump had to say a challenge joe in every democrat to clarify that they only want legal votes. Because they talk about votes and i think they should use the word league a little bit we want every legal vote counted and i want every legal vote counted we want openness and transparency no secret count rooms no mystery ballots no illegal votes being cast after election day you have election day and the laws are very strong of that if you have an election and they dont want votes cast after election day and they want the process to be an honest one its so important we want an honest election and we want an honest count. And we want honest people working back there because its a very important so thats the way this country is going to win this way the United States will win and we think we will win the election very easily we think theres going to be a lot of litigation because we have so much evidence so much proof and its going to end up perhaps at the highest court in the land well see but we think therell be a lot of litigation because we cant have an election stolen by like this and i tell you i would i have been talking about this for many months with all of you and ive said very strongly that mail in ballots are going to end up being a disaster small elections were a disaster small over incident and elections were disasters this is a large scale version and its getting worse and worse every day were hearing stories that are Horror Stories absolute Horror Stories a lot of curious claims being made there lets get more on this with Michelle Stockman our to get your report with us Election Team michelle whats the real deal behind why its taking so long for these votes to be counted ok well part of the real deal is is that america is in the midst of a pandemic and so many voters decided they were going to vote by mail in ballot because they didnt want to stand in lines and risk catching the virus so that has boosted numbers of mail in ballots many states they are used. To handling mail in ballots but perhaps not of this volume so if we look at the states that were waiting for these vote counts for with bated breath you know its a nail biter here. They have different rules that also dictates how and when they can count the votes and the fact that it is taking a while shows how careful they are being so if we take a state like pennsylvania Everyone Wants to know whats whats the count whats happening well theyre not allowed to start opening ballots and counting them and processing them until election day and then they can receive ballots up to 3 days after so thats why were having a bit of a wait there but you look at a state like florida where they can start yes and they can start processing ballots there more than a month before election day actually so those those are opened those signatures are verified those ballots are stacked up there ready to go in machines right on that day so they were able to make that a faster process but you know we need to realize we have all eyes on pennsylvania on arizona and georgia but there are many states who havent completed their vote count yet its and thats maybe the public just isnt watching those states closely because the margins are so wide of theyve already been called but this is a very normal process that is playing out so a complicated process but not necessarily a corrupt process and lets have another listen of something that donald trump had to say will come back to look at more closely. Than talking about mail in voting for well its its really destroyed our system its a corrupt system and it makes people corrupt even if they arent by nature but theyve become corrupt its too easy. They want to find out how many votes they need and then they seem to be able to fly them they wait and wait and then they find. Mail in voting corrupt what do you make of that i mean those words must be heartbreaking to people that are working the election right now that mail in ballots makes them corrupt these are bipartisan. Folks that are that are asked to work on these and counting these ballots and so to be accused of that is the system in the gut these are hardworking people but you know 1000000 voting to americans used to be about is the suspicious as chicken noodle soup which means not at all its just that trump has given many speeches this year sowing the seeds of doubt that there could be fraud in mail and voting there was a county official in utah who said the most disruptive thing thats happened this year has been people calling into the office saying ive heard that i cant trust my mail in ballot and so theyve had to hire operators to kind of talk people through the process and then they say ok well i guess i trust you but i dont trust with going on pennsylvania i dont trust with arizona so. There has been no evidence of widespread or even sporadic voter fraud these claims that hes made that votes have just been found these are false these are votes that are being counted according to state rules. But there are tens of millions of americans who are going to believe and do believe times frederick and so. And we need to be aware that were just in the vote count phase were not even to the phase when the vote count has been certified and audited where we could go into a contested result phase where either side well the vote to the vote comes to a close im going to contest this so were really in and it is not over yet by the hour a multiplayer process and of course its the losers right when the when the margin is that thin to have that recount and it seems at least for now the courts are in are in the favor of that there is no evidence behind a lot of these cases these claims that hes making because theyve been throwing out those lawsuits the show stock went with our u. S. Election team thanks for bringing that to us very welcome to. So lets get a closer look at those states that havent been called yet or are still being counted the latest figures show joe biden with 264 electoral votes and President Trump with 214 Electoral College votes whats up for grabs still georgia for one the 16 Electoral College votes there it is intensely tight for both candidates biden and trump just about neck and neck with 99 percent of the votes counted in that usually republican state further up north in pennsylvania the big prize 20 electoral votes dollar currently holds the lead but that is very narrow and narrowing as we speak remaining mail in ballots are coming in that can fast they are expected to favor joe biden. And out west the tricky state of arizona traditionally republican biden was doing well the a. P. News agency we rely on for results and many other sources do as well calling it for biden but that is very much up for grabs in dispute 11 Electoral College votes are there for and for the taking were putting them with joe bidens count right now but that could yet change and not far away in nevada another state that joe biden is leading but by a very slim margin as it happens that state has 6 Electoral College votes which is exactly the number joe biden currently needs to get to 270 and win the white house many more votes still count there may be as many as 190000. 00 but many are expected say state Election Officials to be from democratic areas now looking at the whole country the whole map votes still being counted in several places Donald Trumps path to victory appears to be narrowing states in the red you see there are for trump blue for biden as called by a. P. States in lighter blue or pink leaning towards biden or trump respectively and just to remind you any one of these states that are still up for grabs would give bitin the win should he win them but trump needs a combination of states to hang on. And lets go to one of those states that both sides very much want to win pennsylvania stuff and simon is in philadelphia where it is a neck and neck race in that county is happening right where he is stefan what is going on there seems to be so many people there im assuming theyre not all vote counters. Theyre not here right those are well theres a just a chinese tiny tiny little group of Trump Supporters still left that maybe this room innocent to whats happening in the big picture in philadelphia in pennsylvania actually to donald trump and his comfortable vote lead which you had just 3 days ago he led 5500000 half a 1000000 votes now its down 278000 votes in the lead and im telling you this because why because theres still 250000 votes to be counted here that happens right here where we are at the Pennsylvania Convention center in philadelphia and right behind me are biden harris supporters and call count all votes supporters facing off all day long a fun show and now its just a bunch it was a sizable crowd earlier bunch of Trump Supporters and this is exactly where i am and what is happening and again county still going on right next to me here in other counties surrounding philadelphia the counting has stopped. Yeah so you bring up a lot of numbers there why dont we put it up on the screen test to make it clear what is at stake in pennsylvania again 20 Electoral College votes Joe Biden Donald trump duking it out there trump with just a short lead 49. 9 percent to 48. 9 percent with 89 percent of that vote in that 11 remaining percent is the crucial difference stefan break it down for us how many votes are there still to count we saw that 11 percent where are they coming from is it for biden is a for trump what are we to what are we what are they saying what are we telling. Those those 250. 00 bound still votes still to be counted come from here philadelphia predominantly predominantly democratic. City slash county also bucks county Allegheny County and allentown all those last mention from me here by me allegheny bucks county allentown they were red they were actually trump counties he had the lead there he won all of them in 2016 now they turned blue meaning the count their votes counted right now still to be counted tomorrow in all of those counties and here are predominantly biden votes that means philadelphia and the surrounding counties the suburbs remember please women of the suburbs like me thats what police like me thats what donald trump said in many many speeches just a few weeks back they didnt it seems to be the case that they didnt like him they dont like him and they voted by they voted democratic and this is what happens now they send in their votes mail in ballots and theyre counted right now as i said theyre still counting going on now and those are the critical this is the Critical Mass joe biden wins this state however long it takes if we have a final result tomorrow or tonight whenever he wins this state and hes over the top hes the president of the United States donald trump needs to win this state as you pointed out and a couple are all this more otherwise hes not going to make it it doesnt look so promising im saying this with all caution but it doesnt look very promising for a President Trump to the contrary it looks pretty pretty pretty promising for the biden kerrys ticket pennsylvania very purple a state you know you have republicans in control of the state legislature a democrat governor what makes pennsylvania demographics lead to such a close call. While it was a blue walled state and then. But that was before Hillary Clinton then trumpet the unthinkable for democrats and turned it the state went to trump now its going to go the other way it looks like it at least and that is showing you how diverse and how much this country how much the state just changing. So this means definitely that the fed will have to step in doesnt it well i mean the Federal Reserve will step in they will do whatever is in their power but what Jerome Powell keeps saying is lending is not spending so they can lend money they can bring some liquidity to the market but actually the money that the Federal Reserve gives is its lending so it has to be repaid at a certain later point im so yes it would be crucial to get more fiscal stimulus and how likely that is after we know whos going to be the president if the 2 chambers come together if republicans and democrats finally can come to an agreement that is totally out in the air this fight all this however in stocks still appear to be on fire whats going on there.
