Thanks and as we said in your report theres been an outbreak of cholera in congress now for illegal merced to see movement 2000 cases hundreds of them children and nearly 1300 deaths and this is the 1st time its spread across the border into uganda so people here are obviously very worried in uganda and we now have 3 confirmed cases in syria 3 majority dying for a year old boy and his grandmother visit another 3 year old boy a very young here is currently being treated and these are all in the west of uganda in the congolese border. And theyre all from the same family here who recently came back from congo most people cross the border back and forth to see relatives go to markets and so theres a lot of movement of this a lot of screening at the border and place and moving out of. There is the government is really stepping up the response to focus on stopping it spreading further and say we need a lot more education of Community Vaccinations for Health Workers and so on to stop it spreading allen how would you compare this outbreak to the last big outbreak of ebola in western africa and that you have 13 and 14 and onwards. Well this is definitely biggest every since then been such or is on a smaller scale with. Fewer cases and so on but it it shows no sign of ending and now that its crossed the border potentially could also cross into other countries in the region and this is really the time to act to make sure that it doesnt grow into a crisis of the scale police or western africa is a very different kind of context the congo has one of the worst conflicts in the world which makes it very difficult to respond. And uganda is hosting one of the largest number of refugees in the world and its already struggling to cope with the refugee crisis and now on top of that. There has to contend with alan more than 1300 deaths in congo hundreds of children youre saying and now this is spreading how worrying is this to you. Thanks to you were. The 1st cases in uganda that it can spread very quickly or is not contained and so the ugandan government is leading the response and has a lot of experience in dealing with these kind of outbreaks but it really will require much more international supports particularly. As someone mentioned in your school to you its really important that communities get the information and education principle. Simple steps that they can take to prevent it spreading want to do if they see the symptoms what the symptoms are. Of these communities are very rural areas there isnt a lot of access to health care.
