a camp survivor tells the daily news why it is so important to keep talking about the past also cameras president paul beyond begins his seventh term in office with a pledge to confront the country's english speaking separatists even as the hunt continues for dozens of kidnapped school children. plus the outrage mounts over china's treatment of muslim minorities will take you to a reeducation camp for the countries we grew a minority group a camp the chinese government claims doesn't even exist and in football the champions league is back with seeking early progression to the knockout stages when they visit a place to go madrid knowing a winner will keep their own course for a were trying to the same stadium in jews find all. the money. thank you so much for your company everyone. millions of americans are voting in the most crucial midterm elections in decades president donald trump is not on the ballot but if you didn't know better you think he was running for reelection the vote is being seen as a referendum on the u.s. president's agenda with a strong result democrats could force trump to rein in his policies surveys suggest that the republicans will keep control of the senate and that democrats could take back the house of representatives but the battle promises to be very tight. it's their first chance to vote since trump's election back in twenty sixteen the american public is going to the polls the midterms are widely seen as a referendum on the president would he change anything about his first two years in office regret that you wish you well there would be certain things i'm not sure i want to reveal all of a but i would say tone i would like to have a much softer tone i feel to a certain extent i have no choice but maybe i do and maybe i could have been shut off there from that standpoint but he hasn't toned down his rhetoric in the midterms campaign accusing democrats of being weak on migration and. democrats are inviting caravan after caravan of illegal aliens to pour into our country overwhelming his schools yard spittles a new community. the democrats not so secret weapon former president barack obama he's been on the campaign trail taking aim at the president often abrasive personality the killjoy this country is on the bill who we are is on the ballot. what can i. think. what kind of politics we expect is on the ballot how we conduct ourselves in public life is on the ballot how we treat other people is on the ballot. there are likely to be swings to both sides across america and deeply conservative texas a surprisingly strong showing for a democrat but a rule seeking election to the senate doesn't matter just a few weeks ago democrats felt fairly sure of recapturing both the senate and the house but polls suggest the race is still wide open and the midterms are first and foremost about congress with seats in both the house of representatives and the senate up for grabs the republican party currently controls both making life relatively easy for president doll trump but democrats hope to flip one or both limit the president's power now the entire house all four hundred thirty five seats are up for election now democrats need a net increase of twenty three seats so win back control of the house. in the senate republicans hold only a narrow majority sounds like good news for democrats but only thirty five seats are up for election most of those are ones democrats need to defend making victory even harder now as well as electing members of congress americans will vote for powerful governors in many states so lots at stake well let's go now to d.c. where our correspondents all over salat is covering these midterm elections all over good to see you why is there so much interest in an election that doesn't involve picking a new president. you know because these elections are about the future of american politics simply and it's that it's up to the voters knowledge judith to decide whether or not they were happy with the last two years with the tone of donald trump with the inflammatory rhetoric that we've been witnessing here in the election campaign and also with many of his politics and policies all for america first simply now what's at stake here is control and power over to chill over both chambers of american congress the senate and the house of representatives and the window will then be able to shape american politics for the next two years to come until the next elections all over a talk to us about what potentially a shift in power would mean for the u.s. president well right now the republicans hold the majority in both chambers but the most likely scenario according to polls and statistics is that the democrats would gain the upper hand in the house of representatives and that would mean that they certainly could block every incentive every policy that has to be confirmed by the u.s. palm and and that would make that would weaken donald trump in the rest of his legislation and certainly a situation that he wants to avoid by all means all right all over south reporting from washington thank you. and so we'll have much more on the u.s. midterms coming up a bit later in the show including three key races you should watch closely but now i'd like to take you to some of the other stories making news around the world. hundred thousand people were imprisoned dutch too tall for sixty five thousand of them were killed most of them gassed or shot there is no evidence of the defendant being involved in individual murders but the prosecution argues he must have known about the killings and was therefore an accessory. we have information from old interrogations from the guards and witnesses people knew all too well what was going on in the camp. in addition the camp was structured in such a way that you had a good overview of the whole care from the watchtowers you could also see through the fence that's why we assume that all the guards knew what went on especially when you served in a camp as long as the defendant did. seven years ago the case against the former guard at a different camp the extermination camps will be bore settle legal precedent in that case the guard john demjanjuk was convicted as an accessory to twenty eight thousand murders a german court ruled that the defendant did not have to personally commit murder to be found guilty. the ruling sparked several new trials against former concentration camp workers. in this latest trial seventeen survivors and relatives of starter victims from around the world are represented as co plaintiff's lawyer owner is arthur acts for an elderly couple from israel who are interred at start off as children it's good. for my clients this isn't about a prison sentence for the defendant they don't want to see him suffer they want him to engage with his past to tell the truth and not to obscure or trivialize or deny these crimes like so many s.s. men and others who were responsible have done in the past. year one are has never denied being a guard at start off but claims he knew nothing of the killings and was never a nazi due to his old age the trial hearings will only last up to two hours a day the case against him will continue until mid january. or some one hundred ten thousand people were imprisoned insta taff and over sixty five thousand were killed one survivor dora ross has made it her mission to tell her story now living in israel c. she spoke with the w.'s tinier kramer about why it's so important to her sister were killed in the holocaust born in poland doris family fled the jewish ghetto in wall so to lithuania from their door of us deported to the state of concentration camp near done thick i can only tell you what happened in the in the years things that i will never forget i will never forget that i was hungry day and night i will never forget that and my mother died from hunger because that little piece of bread that she got she gave me it is estimated that over sixty thousand people were murdered institute of gassed executed or killed by extreme labor conditions and frequent who ever knows how to shed it was this as they should because i don't need that today we can prevent another holocaust it's important for her she says to speak out for the many other children who didn't survive to keep them memory. at the. e.u. member states they're divided on a proposal to place a three percent tax on big internet companies like google and facebook scandinavian countries and ireland fear the measure would make them less attractive to tech firms while others fear washington might retaliate still others want to push through a measure by the end of the year and italy has said it will simply go ahead with its own digital tax if there's no e.u. agreement. the digital tax is a fraught issue in europe for taxing high tech firms like google facebook and amazon could help governments raise money some countries fear they could lose out especially if washington battalions. of course there will be a reaction from the united states which kind of reaction i do not know and of course we should decide for ourselves but we should also think the early on whether it is a good idea or not denmark says the u.s. retaliation could potentially offset the benefits of a tax ireland fears it could become less competitive the irish capital dublin is home to the european headquarters of several u.s. tech firms in germany the eel's biggest market is hoping for a broad agreement between the states by summer twenty twenty france on the other hand it's a term and to push through a proposal for an eagle like tax this year. when there is a will there is the way. and there is a we've come from time for many countries to have a good option. a direct effect by the end of the shows and found a change but all e.u. countries have to agree before long can be adopted and things don't look promising that's why it's really is putting pressure on brussels rome has said it will impose its own national digital tax if there's no e.u. consensus. we asked our frankfurt correspondent conrad then why italy of all nations is eager to move forward with a tax. you know italy desperately desperately needs money and it's popular to tax the large tech companies popular with voters that is many people in italy and not only in this country also here in germany are angry that the large tech firms pay so little tax on their income you know by seeking the most favorable legislation in terms of taxes and here in europe they find it for example in ireland or in luxembourg and that's why countries like italy have come up with the idea to tax the revenues the sales the turn over all for large tech corporations this of course might be against internationally agreed rules for trading for taxing. corporate incomes and that's why the european union wants a common approach here. in their force in frankfurt now to asia where japanese carmaker toyota has seen a boost in sales to china and europe their third quarter operating profits surged eleven percent prompting the company to raise this year's forecast sales in the world's largest car market china have grown substantially by twenty percent and in europe by nearly five percent cost cutting measures have also helped the company to achieve a worldwide increase in sales despite a slight dip in the in the u.s. . germany's environment minister wants to ban the controversial weed killer glyphosate spaniels schultz said her ministry will use all legal options possible to prohibit the we kill or that would be a u. turn at the end of last year germany voted to extend the approval of with us thought it was one of the few e.u. countries to do so now the environment ministry wants to reverse that decision and change the process for approving pesticides and herbicides in general that means that other products may also be bad glyphosate is produced by monsanto which is now owned by germany based multinational buyer. so back to labor now for news thank you so much stephen cameras veteran president paul the other has been sworn in for a seventh term following elections marred by violence and allegations of fraud there has ruled the majority french speaking nation for thirty five years he has ruled out secession for some troubled regions where the english speaking minority is calling for more autonomy while on the eve of b.s. inauguration sermon the nine school students were kidnapped in the anglo phone region a massive hunt is now under way for them the government is blaming the separatists but it's not yet clear who is actually holding the children. this footage purportedly shows the dozens of students kidnapped speaking into the camera they say they were taken by separatists dot com be verified. the media on the loose. skin. one alleged member of the separatist group who is filming the boys also appears on camera before turning it back on to the children telling them that they will be going to school that now all of us. good to school year. the students are all from by men in the west an english speaking part of cameroon separatist groups like the amber boys are waging an armed struggle for independence in the majority french speaking country. in the past they have attacked and killed teachers for disobey orders to keep schools closed but this time the group says it wasn't involved and accuses the army of staging the whole thing to discredit them the children were taken from their dormitories before dawn. along with three staff members the local governor came to the school to meet with some of the parents he assured them their children will be brought back home. despite what happened. to government we know sort of. where to make sure. the student. brought back to classrooms. but this is a man of god. the incident deepens the atmosphere of fear and is likely to lead to more students staying at home in the future. all right let's bring in our correspondent ader in creation in nigeria who just came back from cameroon adrian i believe you were in that very region do we have any news about the whereabouts of the kidnapped girls and boys. unfortunately not although a mess of search operation has started by the army of cameroon we however have more information on what has really happened on the night from sunday to monday some of the children who managed to escape saltus how the abductors came to the school managed to get access to one of the dormitories then rounded up all the children there beating some of them and before taking them to the bush they also tried to get access to more rooms to more dormitories to get more kids so unfortunately this didn't work out because otherwise most likely the number of children away abducted would have been even higher now of course was mind boggling adrian is why would some separatists kidnap sello anglo from children what's the point. what i need to know that for about two years now most of the schools in the region have been closed because of pressure from the separatists size they don't want the children to attend schools where they're taught in the french system so the obvious answer would be they try to duck the good children to force other schools to also close down but the thing is that none of the ten groups that operate in the in the region none of the ten separatist groups have claimed responsibility all that we have is a video with an unknown man talking to the hostages and it is not clear if he belongs to any of those groups some of the separatist groups already said these children quickly have to return they said these are not separatists behind it and there's a lot of speculation going on right now in cameroon some people even blaming the government saying they will use this to justify further attacks on the separatists and as you know there have been a lot of allegations on human rights abuses against the military and the police forces in cameroon in the past but as of now this is all speculations it's very difficult to say what's really going on because independent journalists or observers are not allowed to enter this region right now and local journalists are not free to report from there right here in krishna reporting thank you very much germany france and the u.s. have renewed calls for china to close down detention camps activists say are holding someone million readers and other muslim minorities former detainees have described the camps as political indoctrination centers where muslims are forced to were now stare face and swear loyalty to the communist party beijing has rejected all accusations of mass internment calling the charges politically motivated. we are driving through cashcard and ancient away society on the silk road we are looking for a reeducation camp something the chinese government says does not exist but we find one. surveillance cameras a watch tower high walls and barbed wire we have to film undercover and constantly watch out for police a passer by tells us that people study here but reports say it's more like indoctrination satellite images show the site has an eight block complex of buildings and a sports field five thousand kilometers away near stuttgart germany added incense studies the system of oppression in china's shion jiang province he is familiar with a compound we saw in cash car he says it is clearly every education center. by color chemist hundreds you can see that these are relatively normal looking grey buildings it's not a classic prison with buildings of different shapes in china these buildings often have similar structures because they're pre-fabricated based. for his data sense analyzes government documents for these camps he says there are at least one thousand in term and camps in the province the advocacy group human rights watch and the u.n. estimate the number of prisoners at up to one million it's china's biggest indoctrination effort since the cultural revolution. and education in shin jiang is so massive. and based on what we've heard from various eyewitnesses it is going increasingly in the direction of cultural genocide or skin was but what's really going on we spoke to someone here in istanbul no one engine jang province was willing to talk to us out of fear. this is the flag of the weaker independence movement banned in china a man we'll call him dar not his real name shows it to us he escaped from china but his sister is at one of the camps he tells us about his visit there. on my left there were about six hundred to seven hundred people they were standing at attention and singing a chinese marching song there was a sign above which said education center of the party everyone wore blue uniforms and stood still. experts say that weaker is that the camps are being forced to learn chinese and attend lectures about the dangers of islam they say beijing is trying to wipe out their islamic identity back in cash car at one of its main attractions eat cum mosque the chinese flag flies here a sign over the entrance reads love the communist party love the country. we try to meet the image but we can't it's not even clear if one can pray at this mosque security checks are everywhere but only weekers have to show their id han chinese can simply pass through and what does the chinese government say to all of this it calls the camps vocational education china's ministry of foreign affairs keeps giving the same response they want a single engine jiang province society is currently stable the economy is developing all ethnic groups live in harmony. at the main square uncashed are communist party propaganda state and party leader xi jinping poses with laughing we . but many wiggers might say there is little to laugh about. to russia now we're a trunk driver has given the expression popping to the shops a whole new meaning c.c.t.v. has captured the moment the brakes on this truck on his truck failed sending it hurling ran into a supermarket shoppers and a shelf stacker could be seen inside the building as the truck smashed through that wall more fortunately only one woman had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for her minor injuries. close call there you're watching you know we do still have a lot more to tell you about including the world maybe going digital but more and more people are moving in the opposite direction and a lot is making a comeback and companies are cashing in on the vintage revival and a german punk band has recently been at the center of a discussion about artistic freedom or tell you why coming right out of sea after these messages. these are very sensitive russian artists from the middle of the nineteenth century whose highly susceptible and suggestible his approach was seek in the pale he put it into the to his music all the time i spend at the salon and i feel good quality hair when i see it and then a good story when i hear it. my name is elizabeth and i work at. the. bridge to see you again you're watching t w news on while her rocker brylin and this is our big story this hour u.s. voters are casting ballots in what many describe as the most pivotal midterm elections in decades the poll is being seen as a referendum on donald trump's presidency with a strong showing democrats could take back control of congress. and we're going to stay with that story because you know you washington correspondent my our shooter has more now on three key races to watch and what they can tell us about the shape of u.s. politics. every state every ballot issue every candidate has a pivotal role to play in these midterm elections some campaigns could prove to be a bellwether for where the country is headed as a whole let's take a look now at just a few examples will begin in texas one of the most populous states in the nation and currently the biggest solidly republican voting state texas hasn't elected a democratic side. since one nine hundred eighty eight now bit over ark a democratic upstart is challenging incumbent republican ted cruz and for such a red state the race has become unusually competitive cruz is still ahead in the polls but her work has attracted national attention. even if beto recluses democrats are excited by the idea that he could generate enough voter enthusiasm to take texas from a reliably republican state to a swing state during presidential elections over to georgia where voters might elect the first black woman to ever run a u.s. state stacy abrams has pulled another solidly republican state to the left with polls having abram's and the republican incumbent within a few points of each other this campaign has thrown the issue of voting rights into sharp relief democrats in the state of georgia are accusing republicans of trying to purge the voter rolls in the state specifically targeting african-americans republicans of course fiercely deny this saying they're simply trying to protect the integrity of the election last but not least california a huge reliably blue state in presidential election years and nonetheless has a large republican voting contingent democrats are heavily targeting these seven districts which are currently represented by republicans but all voted for the democratic candidate hillary clinton and the twenty six thousand presidential election the california races are a big hurdle that the democrats need to cross if they want to accomplish their main goal of taking back the house of representatives these elections have been described over and over again as one of the most important of americans lifetimes a lot is at stake and a lot could change. my favorite of reporting there from d.c. and want to welcome now raymond glendening he is the founder and c.e.o. of scarlet oak strategies in washington d.c. that specializes in designing and managing public affairs and grassroots campaigns for a national trade associations and issue advocacy groups thank you so much for joining us mr glendening you analyze the dems and g.o.p.'s campaign ads how are they courting voters. you know one thing i think that's been very critical is just how big the democrats have made the playing field in this cycle we all know that there's thirty six governors' races thirty five senate races but the sheer number of house races that the democrats have made competitive has really put the g.o.p. back on its back on its heels we have this money is eighty house districts that are currently in play that could go one way or another the volume of that really creates a lot of problems for the g.o.p. within that we've had a lot of candidates that are running in traditionally red districts you'll get a place like west virginia three or kentucky six where the democrats did a great job of recruiting candidates that are in districts of trump plus twenty plus thirty points the fact that they're running candidates there and running very effectively there really kind of changes the dynamic of the entire playing field and because of that i think the ads this cycle have really matched. the district for which each candidate is running and you're seeing a very different tone and a very different attention to issues in a place like west virginia three and kentucky six as you are compared to the democrats that are running in new york state or or the state of california no sir let's talk more about tone because that is turning out to be very important in the campaign that leading up to these of midterms because it has been very divisive and there has been a lot of racial animosity that has been stoked what's the danger of that lingering after the midterms. well i think you saw this the other day with vice president going on his closing tours for the democrats his number one plea even beyond voting for the democrats is to take the tone in washington and around the country down we're still at a midterm this is going to be one of the most highly participated in midterms in the country's history it looks in terms of turnout so far much more like a presidential election year than it does a midterm but we are two years away from a presidential election that promises to be one of the most divisive in the country's history in order to maintain the fiber of this country we need to take that tone down immediately after this election and i think that's going to take a commitment not just from democrats but also from republicans as well now there have been accusations of the voter suppression that scare people away from the polls i actually think it has the inverse reaction for a lot of people traditionally this is happening in a lot of states in the south there's already been reports today out of georgia where in your last segment i think you mention there's a very hotly contested governor's race in that state florida has obviously had its share of both historically and this cycle of voting issues you mentioned a state like texas where you have a vast minority immigrant populations across the state and what's now a very very close senate race what happens today in terms of who is allowed to vote not just today but the ballots that have been cast over the course of the last three and four weeks with with early voting in vote by mail it's going to be very closely watched for the next few weeks now i've got thirty seconds left how big a role that social media play. bigger bigger than ever it's estimated that about three billion dollars have been spent politically want ads and on radio more so than ever a large chunk of that money has gone to digital communications not just from party committees and from candidates but also from outside sources which are really seeking to influence the election at an issue base level they would have to be more cognizant of of ever of what's being perceived as fact not fiction and again it really goes back to a commitment from both parties to be able to identify and caught a false one and what it's being mentioned raymond glendening the founder and c.e.o. of scarlet strategies in washington d.c. search think you for weighing in thank you. well social media giant facebook announced today it had blocked one hundred fifteen suspicious user a counseling to foreign groups on the eve of the midterm elections well after heavy criticism for failing to stop election meddling back in two thousand and sixteen facebook has made this one of its top priorities but how is it really doing it for brock progress report i want to turn now to our very own social media editor jarrett rediff to a clue it's in so has facebook cleaned up its act the good christian social media companies have kind of been forced to clean up their act because they're doing so with the threat of regulation hanging over their head and what facebook's had to do over the past two years is take a good hard look at itself and try and prioritize as safeguarding elections which is trying to do through deleting suspicious and fake accounts through cracking down on news that isn't true and also opening up the transparency around the political ad machine and ok let's talk a bit more about transparency because you dug into this issue a little bit deeper right so facebook google and earlier this year all want searchable database is containing election ads and we're focusing on facebook because it was the most implicated in the election meddling anyone can go to what's called facebook's ad library we can get that up here and this is what you'll see when you type in for example donald trump we can see all of the ads featuring the u.s. president since the ahc hive was launched back in my birth pro and anti trump when we click on one of those ads were able to see how many people's timelines it's been on how much it cost the group behind the ad and then below the demographic of who's seen it which gives us a good indication of who the ad was targeted to so some good information there that is meant to increase trust and transparency and let's. does know why they might be saying certain odds in their timelines i'm guessing there must be some loopholes there that's right and it all comes down to money and the money that political groups receive that they might spend on ads the origin of this money sometimes used to track down and so in the meantime facebook created this tool called paid for by and this is like a little calling in the ad telling us who paid for the ad so that sounds pretty good but there is again a loophole in this system i'm going to show you an ad that ran last month in britain which as we know is leaving the european union this here is as quote a pro breaks it stunts we can take a look at who paid for the ad and it says here cambridge analytics the name of course of the political consultant see that dragged facebook through a huge datta scandal earlier this year and of course the thing is cambridge analytic is broke can't have paid for the ad so the big question is who did paid for the ads and it was the financial news website business insider dot com so journalists there who have to thank for their research set up a fake page for a nonexistent n.j. are you set up these ads and basically just typed in cambridge analytics as the group having paid for advice dot com did a similar thing facebook is saying it's stopping foreign funded election ads but these groups these websites have been able to show some loopholes in here that the process is easily manipulated looks like facebook is on the right track but has a bit of improving to read thank you so very much for that and we will have extensive coverage of the midterms here on the well bringing you all the results plus what they mean for europe and beyond and we'll have live updates on our website this d.w. dot com and hit us up on twitter if you want as well i'm going to hand you over now to stephen. thanks lou the trade dispute between the u.s. and china it's a drag on the world's two biggest economies touch down but the team are safe and are now going in search for early qualification for the knockout stages. it was all smiles at the airport before dortmund boarded that flight to madrid the aborted landing which followed was hardly the perfect preparation for a big game but dortmunder in such good foam there on the brink of the champions league last sixteen with two games to spare a handsome home win over athletico in october underlined their speedy revival under coach lucy in five but he is staying as cautious as ever. if you miss and that would fall we have got to prepare really well at they might have lost against us for neil but that game is gone now it was just one match and we know all about atlantico they have been one of the best teams in europe for seven or eight years with the munch of. the even. fiver is right about that politico's champions league pedigree they've reached two finals in the last five years but dortmund's red hot streak has the spaniards worried. they're playing very well they are producing spectacular football and it's clear that if they keep this level they have a big chance of winning the bundesliga title not only on the bundesliga is not the only trophy on dortmund's minds they are well aware that this season's champions league final is also let them let it go stadium a repeat visit is the aim. manchester city coach pep guardiola has defended the club after further allegations this week of cheated financial fair play rules city and its owners are accused of manipulating their accounts to get around spending limits speaking ahead of city's champions league match with sucked her donetsk gladiola distanced himself from the allegations made in the german magazine der spiegel the ad that the club success wasn't just down to money. completely honestly i don't know what happened because i'm. in manager in focus what happened to be in the locker room one of the people they want to beat is about day one that this kind of situation i'm completely. but i am part of the club reported to me the club and we want to do what really we have to do in terms of the roof. and the arts and culture to say we're going to be looking at artistic freedom here in germany recently of punk band was stopped from performing on a television show here and robin merrill from our culture desk has more so what exactly went down what happened well first of all i should say it wasn't the t.v. station that stopped the performing it's about a band called fine azzam a fish filet which would be creamy phillis fish fish sounds harmless well no i should mention in the past they have been accused of writing antiestablishment lyrics and indeed even investigated by the security officers here they have distanced themselves from some of the early songs and perform the many now they would do to perform on a t.v. show tonight which was to be held in the bauhaus and desolate now by our house is of course a renowned german art design school in the early twentieth century which in one thousand nine hundred thirty three was closed down by the now. sees who considered powerhouse design degenerates ott i mention this because it isn't what the nazis did what the buy a house foundation are indulging in now because it is they that have stopped this band performing in one of their buildings they say there were threats of disturbance from right wing groups so the band was counseled by the way the band is performing tonight in another venue indes. which will also be taken by the channel the t.v. channel that said they were going to so is going all the gig is sold out instantly but the band have said they will give free tickets to children who have parents who are members of a f.t. this is the far right wing party here in germany so there is a bit of artistic humor in this from them a least but anyway let's find out more about fine as an official there was a documentary made last year called vid is a wild it's about the band is about a singer and it's about much more. this house is more than the portrait of a band its central theme is the rise of the right wing in eastern germany when nazis started coming to their gigs the boys from the band realized they had to adopt a clear position their songs began to reflect their refugees welcome stance and they were also increasingly on the front line when neo nazis were challenged on the street. during the twenty sixteen state election campaign they toured mecklenburg for palm and with a very political message as this goes until you can usually get home wish to lead it over the court said you're going to go to the top of the stasi responders or get over that you've got over most of us that's like uploaded to that of your bowl of butts motivates them to. the band achieved notoriety after being placed under surveillance by germany's domestic security service so is singer young making mancini a hero in the eyes of the director. of in five hero for sure because a hero is someone who finds a situation and re-imagines it or approaches it in an entirely new way the band anyon have done just that since they first got together before the current climate change solidarity with refugees is a given. as we see that when we see a police this month as this is going to fix things the better the show sort of itself isn't even true to me she was on the phone the commitment to news confided to me it's mccool on and it's my views on when this issue of a good host a true just not initiative. china's unofficial a show that mixing pop and politics is still relevant in this day in age. and out robin this isn't the first time that. musical act has entered into the political fray in recent months i'm sure it won't be the last three many offices speaking up against extremism of either side really. i'm sure you remember in oldest a man was stabbed to death in the east german town of chemists allegedly by migrants that followed. protests and sort of lots of. hostility towards foreigners and one week later. rather spontaneously anti-racism concert was spontaneously organizing chemist's featuring many well known including fine is on a fish relay see the concert was peaceful over fifty thousand people turned up almost all and had a good time the concert was advertised on the bana visit we are more saying that you know with there's more of oz than the new in other words there's more people in favor of multiculturalism than against it. now tell us what happened to the whole bauhaus to block all yeah well as i said the culture is going ahead tonight anyway and it's being felt concerning the buy a house foundation i personally hope they'll not try to interfere in artistic content of t.v. shows this is going down the slippery slope is that we must maintain in a democracy artistic freedom it's essential to any free society and of course it has you know it's especially here in germany because of the history of the past and we've got more on our website on the substitutes a lot more i mean icon explain it best in five minutes so check out our website v.w. dos home culture there's going to be lots more all not in the next week awesome must see you tomorrow i
