Mar 15, 2021 7:55 AM (CHICAGO) Ducks Unlimited (DU) recently announced that it, along with numerous partners, has protected, enhanced, and restored 392 acres of wetland and grassland habitat on seven Illinois project sites last year in 2020, greatly improving water quality and wildlife habitat. Among the highlighted projects were about 60 acres of private land in east-central Illinois, a 30 acre track along the Cashe River in southern Illinois’ Johnson County, and over 100 acres in a three year project in Kane County’s Burlington Prairie Forest Preserve.
