Journal staff MARQUETTE — Two people were arrested after search warrants were issued for a residence in the city of Iron Mountain on the evening of Jan. 6. Several grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, cash, electronic devices, and evidence of drug distribution were discovered, according to police. A 32-year-old male, Daniel Droese of Iron Mountain, and 33-year-old female, Stephanie Motto of Iron Mountain, were arrested and lodged at the Dickinson County Jail on numerous drug-related charges, officials said. An UPSET investigation revealed the suspects were relieveing large quantities of out-of-state drugs in Iron Mountain through several shipments, according to an UPSET news release.
