Dover rallies for 'amazing' teacher Erin Murphy who suffered stroke DOVER – Community members are raising money to help pay medical expenses for a Garrison Elementary School music teacher who suffered a stroke Wednesday. A Gofundme page has been set up to help Erin Murphy, 30, deal with expenses once she returns home from the hospital. As of late Thursday afternoon, friends, fellow teachers and community members have already raised more than $27,000 for Murphy. Garrison Principal Beth Dunton described Murphy, who is also a yoga teacher, as “kind, gentle, outgoing, loves her dogs, loves music, and she’s always willing to share with other folks.”
