DOTD just posted these photos of their workers on the Mississippi River Bridge working nonstop to remove the ice from the bridge. As of writing this article, I-10 East remains closed between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. I just want to salute and thank all that have been working nonstop in the elements to ensure the safety of those on the roads. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. If you can, please refrain from getting on the roads today, but if you must, please travel with caution as some roads reportedly still have patches of ice on them. DOTD FB
