Jawuan Jackson, an honor student at Mount View High School in Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia, is heading to the National Academy of future physicians and medical scientists, an elite gathering for future doctors, thanks to a lot of help from his Jobs for West Virginia Grads instructor Debbie Krabbe, the Jobs for America's Grads program, a GoFundMe and an anonymous donor. Jackson is one of dozens of disadvantaged students in West Virginia who are committed to returning to their economically struggling community one day to help find solutions.
