Donington Parish Council will undertake investigations to find out who owns a passageway

Investigations will be undertaken to find out who owns a village centre passageway which has fallen into disrepair.
Donington Parish Council wants to know who owns the passageway, which runs between the Sunlight Chinese Takeaway and what was The Peacock pub, in order to get the site repaired.
Members of the council agreed at their last meeting to instruct a solicitor to find out who owns this passageway.

Concerns had been raised at a previous meeting about the pathway falling into disrepair.
Chairman Coun Jane Stanley said: “It is an awful mess. As you walk through there it is dreadful with big pot holes.”
