Doctor Strange director Scott Derickson parted ways with Marvel Studios due to "creative differences" over upcoming sequel,
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Not much has been revealed since then, though the filmmaker remains attached to the project as an executive producer (that usually doesn't mean very much). 
Now, it's looking a lot like Derrickson has broken his silence on what happened, hinting on social media that a clash of visions really was at the heart of his decision to walk away from the franchise.
