Fiona O’Neill is a ready-to-wear visual artist from Dalkey, and since Björk (who is a very original and independent-minded dresser), she has attracted high-profile clients for her signature hand-painted pieces.
I had the pleasure of meeting Fiona at London Fashion Week a year ago when she was showing her fashion-forward collection of clothing. It attracted a lot of attention at The Strand venue because of her themes of surrealism and optical illusions, incorporating different art forms and application processes, such as screen printing, painting by hand and ceramic sculpting.
