himself to stop an investigation into him. this is very different than the border wall fight where he was trying to get a policy on the border wall and shut down the government to try to get it. at least you could make an argument that there's a policy he's trying to get for some people who wanted that. different from the trade wars where he's trying to get a policy for some people and asking for paying from others in order to get it. in this case it's really about the president and the investigation. it really is about him putting himself in front of the legislation for the american public. in addition to that and to make sort of a point on what john meacham was saying about andrew johnson, if you go back into the past, that's the argument against andrew johnson. he wasn't faithfully executing the job. that's part of the discussion if the democrats end up going forward with an impeachment at any point. >> eli, let's go with a history he is son. other presidents in this position took the exact opposite
