garrett haake is covering all of this. he joins me now from capitol hill. six senators calling for the president to resign. what other reaction are you hearing on the hill today, sir? >> well, craig, as often happens in this case, you're seeing a pretty neat partisan divide between the reactions on this. republican senators have been very quick to say they've been focused on tax reform today. they haven't looked at tweets or simply that they don't follow the president's tweets. as we so often hear when he tweets things like this that are controversial. i think congresswoman sphere's remarks summarize what we heard from democrats who are outraged at this. they see this as a personal nasty sexist attack at one of their colleagues and they see it as beneath the dignity of the oval office, something that for most of these democrats frankly underscores what many of them have already felt. >> how likely is it that the house oversight committee undertakes an investigation of any sort? >> as we stand here today, i would say it's about a zero percent chance. as long as republicans control the house of representatives and control those committees.
