to be protected from predators. first week in law school, my first class in law school at the university of michigan was on the tort of assault, which is the intentional touching, unwanted, unwelcome, offensive, or even the implied touching, the act of going forward. so it's an old standard. and somehow it got lost from broadcast. we learned years ago that whenever we covered a domestic abuse story on the "nightly news" and public affairs show i did, the pbs affiliate, every time we covered it, women would flee from abusive situations to shelters. and so i think with every story that comes out, more victims will step forward, seek help and seek protection, and the industry will right itself. not just our industry. not just radio and television but congress, academia, everywhere because predatory assaulting behavior cannot be tolerated. >> can we talk about the difference between what we've
