was there at the time between 2012 and 2014, the same group, of course, that paul manafort worked for. what we gan as a fact finding mission to try to learn more what manafort did has been raising eyebrows among mueller prosecutors who want to see what podesta violated that act. >> does this go as far as to suggest that the podesta group and podesta might be involved in manafort or is this the idea that you've got to be honest with the government when you're working for a foreign government or an entity and these guys misrepresented what was on the form? >> well, they're involved in manafort, they're involved with manafort. so far as the fact that they worked with him as part of this group in between 2012 and 2014, at the direction of manafort's deputy tony podesta and his group introduced top ukrainian officials to members of congress. they're involved in that point.
