house, the bigger problem for them. >> i'm curious, erin, where we to be a staffer working in the white house for the president, it's hard to do damage control on a man who does not want to be controlled. how long do you think it is before people start walking? >> alex, that's a terrific question. i've talked to people outside the white house who are having introductory conversations about going in and what it would take to get them to go into the white house. as far as leaving the white house, i think that might be a little too soon. but the one thing that i have noticed in trying to talk to press staff at the various agencies is that they are not even equipped to answer some basic questions on the agenda and on major issues, because they can't get the kind of guidance that they need from the white house, because the white house, that press staff is so under siege with all of these russia questions. and that, to amy's point, is really holding the administration back a lot. >> and amy, again this morning, the president puts out the witch
