camera film has officially hit the end of the road. dwayne's photo in parson's, kansas, the last lab in the world developing the process for the once-dominant kodak film, developed its last roll on thursday. our affiliate ksnf has the story. it's one of those days that you only see once in a lifetime. >> reporter: kodachrome is known as the first successful color film, but it's much more than that to the stylings, it's made them known across the globe. >> we're tremendously excited. today is the last day that we're accepting film for kodachrome processing and we've been inundated. >> reporter: photographers flocked to dwayne's photo, hundreds have sent in film to be developed before the machine is turned off forever. >> we're honored that kodak has had enough faith to trust us with the processing of this product. >> reporter: nearly 350 u.p.s.
