the pirates alive. jeremy hubbard, abc news, new york. well, just when we thought we finally received a break from winter weather, a fierce snowstorm is stretching from montana to michigan and it's forced the cancellation of more than 1,000 flights. it's a full-blown blizzard in minnesota where drivers are now struggling to get around in these whiteout conditions causing hundreds of accidents and spinouts, as you can imagine. now, as the storm moves east, it's expected to dump up to 15 inches of snow in the twin cities by this afternoon. it has been a brutal winter. >> already tired of all that snow. here comes another one. >> almost 70 here in new york on friday. now we're talking about 1 to 3 inches between now and tuesday. no relief. >> don't put away the snow boots. >> not yet. here's a look at the rest of your monday forecast. about a half foot of snow in western new york and pennsylvania. up to 4 inches as we say, not only in new york but philly, hartford and providence. just a dusting in boston. showers for memphis and louisville to d.c. rain in the pacific northwest and snow showers in the rockies. >> 48 degrees in seattle.
