have him give his opinion. i don't have any problem with the fact that john dean is a former felon. he came clean during watergate and was a credible witness. i do have a problem with him saying that this is comparable to what prompted. his it is not a comfortable at all. you had a series of underlying crimes. a very serious underlying crimes. you do not have that here. >> sandra: what did you think of his appearance here yesterd yesterday? >> well, i only saw parts of it. so i thought some of the questioning by both sides was ridiculous. i wouldn't like that guy over the coals because of what he did in the past. he owned up to it. he was the key witness. he came around and cooperated. he was starting to cooperate even before then. so i don't criticize him for that, but i criticize him for that preposterous comparison.
