we've been talking about floods for weeks and weeks. meteorologist, janice dean is live in the fox weather center with more. >> wouldn't it be great to donate the water in the southwest where they need it. they have extreme drought and we have extreme flooding around the missouri river. through omaha and kansas city eventually into the mississippi river. a lot of these rivers and streams are at or above stage and will remain that way for much of the summer. this is an ongoing story. there are the flood advisories. even though we're not seeing a lot of rain in these areas we're still at or above flood stage in a lot of these spots. flood watches around warnings remain for the northwest, down to the missouri river and the mississippi river unfortunately and we've got more rain in the forecast. we've got a system that's moving across the rockies and bringing rain to montana and wyoming and the rockies and across the midwest where we have severe thunderstorm watches and warnings.
