angry. after learning the city managers and their police chief make many, many times the average wage. we're talking about 800,000 bucks almost for the city manager, and now, even after they're going, they're basically fired, that they're going to get all sorts of pensions that are shocking as well, and now a vote to slash more than half of their salaries is just not enough for these folks. so is this a preview of what could be coming to a town near you? stu varney of the fox business network joins us. why should we believe this is a harbinger of things to come outside of bell, california? >> two things, jerry brown of the state of california has jumped right into this, he sense's political opportunity, perhaps, because he's involved in a tight race for the governorship of california with meg whitman, he sees what looks like a small isolated town with outrage but he realizes that the outrage is statewide, if not nationwide, jumps n. i think that's a sign that it's a grassroots revolt that may be spreading.
