they want every country to put sanctions against iran if they could have their way, including the european union. so expect netanyahu to bring that up with obama. also the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, admiral mullen, has had 13 visits with his israeli counterpart and the focus of the visits have been to make sure that israel doesn't launch a surprise attack on iran. so expect those talks to continue and the focus to still be on sanctions, rick. rick: reena, one more question. there have been a lot of people in this country who have wanted to see president obama come out more vocally in support of israel. a feeling on the part of a lot of jews in the united states that this president does not have israel's back the way that other white house administrations have had in the past. is that feeling shared in israel? are there a lot of israelis who would like to hear more forceful and supportive language from the american president? >> reporter: well, i think everyone is looking to see exactly how tomorrow plays out. a lot was said last time
