become a very real possibility and here in the seaside town of ramsgate that's a prospect some are looking forward to an old shipping route from belgium to ramsgate is set to reopen as part of the british government's contingency plans to prevent backlog at the sea ports and that has given the town a chance of boosting the economy and restoring its former glory but while the mayor says his town is open for business serious doubts are being raised. it's almost an understatement to say that ramsgate on the southern coast of england is a sleepy town it used to be a popular seaside resort but its heyday is long gone. but the mayor who like most of the locals supports breaks it believes that ramsgate is about to make a comeback. but i like this. he's hoping that the port will soon be back in business.
