you have to be better than it and then you have the policy piece also. let me ask you one question about that. the vp says you go with a plan like bernie sanders, you know, i'm paraphrasing, medire is gone, all the medicare you have is gone. that's not true. why is he saying that? >> well, i think what he's really saying if you look at bernie sanders' plan, which is a real plan, but what it would do is, it would eliminate private insurance. >> it wouldn't eliminate medicare, though. it would increase coverage. >> it raises taxes on everybody -- >> it does. that's about cost. not coverage. >> our plan -- and by the way, that plan doesn't come to fruition for four years after you pass it. and what happens in that four years, nobody talks about that. i think the vice president's plan is a real plan to get to universal coverage, 97%, almost from day one. for those people who like their private insurance, they get to keep it. it makes sure that medicare, medicaid is sound and then offers a public option by the way, which would be premium-free in all of those states who are trapped. i think it's a real plan. i think the american people will see it for what it is and
