russia did meddle in our elections. do you think everyone would view the investigation differently if the president would concede that russia played a role in meddling in the election? >> absolutely. if president trump said that machin months ago or the last few weeks, it would change the tenor of the press covering the white house. he rehe fufuses to say the word the way she did. it raises suspensions and brings up the questions. he should repeat her and what she said. that would really change the narrative. he doesn't want to do so. >> he could say they meddled. we need to look at this and just we cannot ignore. >> that is at the heart of the investigation. that is what people are concerned about. not that he won because of that, but there was the interference. that's where it started. >> could it happen again. julian, thank you so much for joining us.
