we think it was a january 26 date actually at about 9:30 in the evening. there was a magnitude 9.0 earthquake that occurred off the coast of oregon and washington and caused a tsunami not only there -- we see the evidence of the drowned forest. but also it was recorded in japan four hours later. at that time in japan it was called the orphan tsunami because they didn't know where it came from. we now know it was that earthquake in oregon and washington. the tsunami was about three or four feet high in japan. so what we have here today is the reverse situation. the earthquake is in japan, magnitude 8.9, and we can expect the tsunami to hit california and the west coast possibly with waves of three to four feet high. it's a scary thing. it's hard to look at these images which are ones we've never seen before, anything like this in realtime. it's just amazing images. it's hard to believe there are
