Day before Bengal panchayat polls, Congress worker killed, 4

A Congress worker was killed in Murshidabad district in West Bengal, while four BJP workers were shot at in Cooch Behar district. The separate incidents came a day before the crucial panchayat polls are held. So far, 18 people have died in the violence in the run-up to the rural polls.
