CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A former Corpus Christi mayoral candidate remains in jail after being arrest on arson charges in connection with a fire that took place on Election Day.
Nueces Country District Attorney Mark A. Gonzalez confirmed to KRIS 6 News on Tuesday night that former mayoral candidate John Medina was arrested on arson charges in connection with a fire that took place on Election Day.
Medina, 63, remains in jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
