CW: Fall plans include '4400,' 'Legends of the Hidden Temple'

CW is expanding to a seventh night this fall, the first time the smallest broadcast network will have a full week of programming. 
In a new season filled with reboots, remakes and revivals, the network's fall highlights include the returns of sci-fi series "The 4400," which aired on USA Network from 2004-07; and "Legends of the Hidden Temple," a 1993-95 Nickelodeon game show that spawned a 2016 movie. (But a live-action reboot of Cartoon Network's "The Powerpuff Girls" is not going forward for now.) 
The full fall season is expected to kick off in early October, a few weeks after CW's broadcast rivals unveil their lineups. Its current season, delayed by the pandemic, began in January. But CW chief Mark Pedowitz told reporters on Tuesday that its effects on production will linger: "It will take until fall 2022 to get back to a fully normalized schedule."
