[reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] >> and my mom francis. hi, mom. we gather to share memories and to pray for our beloved departed and their families. my mom francis was 76 on 9/11, and was no wind up with stick in the crowd. that is -- were it not for her acts of love. she was a loving wife. ironically, her husband, my father, bill and i got the very foundation of this building at the very beginning. she was a great and sacrificing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. and she was also a great friend. after her death i heard so many great secret ways in which she provided comfort and emotional support to all who asked for her. mom. i will never forget you with the abundance of love you gave me. and one more thing, if i may. this year a representative of the house referred to our loss is just another incidence. this year and network commentators that the presidents performance was a traitorous act as was 9/11 and last week the senator attacked a supreme court nominee and called him a racist for alleged comments after 9/11. stop. stop. please stop using this as props in your political theater. their lives, sacrifices and death are worth so much more. let's not trivialize them for us. to my mom and to all of you and your loved ones, never forget. [applause] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] [reading names] >> and my brother, thomas, senior corps officer and first respond responder. tommy, i never miss a chance to sing your praise and speak of your courage, valor and service to community. through your time served as an army medic, a volunteer fire department or firefighter or in pulling people from a building that ultimate i will took your life. sometimes i think what you could have been and the bright future you held and it makes me sad, but none of us could see your dreams materialize and then i think of what you did in your short life and impact you had on the city you loved. strangers you helped daily and i'm proud to say you're my brother. >> and not forgetting my darling husband, robin blare, he washed for cantor fitzgerald on the 105th floor of the north tower and it's with a heavy heart i'm standing here today. my love and grief go out to all 9/11 victims and survivors and their families. our three sons, nicholas, oliver and william have had many milestones that you were not able to attend. the recent graduation in new jersey and his prom. and me taking him alone yet again to the beautiful roanoke college in virginia. robin, you be would so proud of our wonderful boys, they are wonderful sons and thanks to venus and sherry for always being there for me and our boys. i love you both.
