Parents at st. Marys Catholic Primary School told me ofce the concerns about air pollution affecting Childrens Health. This morning High Court Ruled that the Government Air quality plan is. What does it Prime Minister feel is worse, losing for the third time in the high court, or 40,000 unnecessary deaths and impact on Childrens Health of the uks unsustainable airquality . The issue the honorable lady has raised about air quality is important and thats why weve been taking action to improve air quality. But can i just say to the honorable lady the way she has described the courts decision this morning i dont think properly reflects the decision that the court has given. If i could just perhaps, mr. Speaker, explained to thein houe because we do welcome the fact that the court has dismissed the complaint relating to five cities with major airquality problems, has now that we are taking appropriate action. They have agreed the modeling we used to support the 2017 airquality plan is sound. They have asked them to go further enemies with less severe airquality problems where we have brought a pragmatic approach was pragmatic that we twill formalize that but actuay on two out of three counts they felt in the governments favor. Eddie hughes. Thank you, mr. Speaker. The people want to see more police on the streets. I lobbied the Police Minister for funds to put more police on the streets. Will the Prime Minister join me in urging the Labour Police and crime commissioner to put more police on the streets instead of increasing his budget for back office staff by 10 Million Pounds . My honorable friend raises an important issue and his right to speak up for his constituents in relation to this. Hes also right because as a government weve been keen to ensure that police are out there, not in back office jobs. More money is going to policing [shouting] order, order. Please, the questions and answers must be heard, and i make no apology for repeating that the discussions here at pmqs should bear some resemblance to what the house is saying in relation to culture. Weve recently had a report on harassment. Lets try to behave properly in these sessions. That means listening to the answers and listening to the questions. Both sides of the house have got to try toy wake up to the realiy that huge numbers of people outside this place, i couldnt care less about the press gallery, huge numbers of people outside this placece disapprove, disapprove of this sort of behavior. On both sides, stop it. Prime minister. Thank you, mr. Speaker. The funding settlement for next to provide extra money for policing which means that West Midlands police will receive an increase of 9. 5 Million Pounds. Of course as my honorable friend said its up to the West Midlands police and crimes commissioner, the Labour Commission to decide how he spendsnd that money but i know that these forces can be more effective and productive and attorneys could debate his case very strongly for the Labour Commissioner. Jeremy corbyn. [shouting] thank you. Thank you, mr. Speaker. Yesterday the brexit secretary assured the country that brexit will not plunget in britain into a mad max style world borrowed from dystopian fiction. Does the Prime Minister feel he could set the bar just a little bit higher . [laughing] Prime Minister. Ill tell you [laughing] as the right honorable gentleman knows where very clear where going to ensure that when we leave the European Union where going to able to take back control of our borders, our money and our laws. [shouting]g] i have to say to them the only fiction around the relation to brexit and European Union is the labour partys front bench who cant even agree with themselves on what their policy is. [shouting] jeremy corbyn. One of, mr. Speaker, one of her former brexit ministers in thes other place warned the prie minister written will be walking a gangplank into thin air if she doesnt he said what she actually wants on leaving the European Union. In his speech the brexit secretary also said fears about at the regulatory race to the bottom were based on nothing. So why then did his own departments exit analysis state that could be opportunities for britain in deregulated areas such as environment and Employment Law . Let me say to the right honorable gentleman he talks about what we actually want to achieve when we leave the European Union. Ill tell you what we want to achieve. We want to enjoy this is a country that can negotiate freetrade deals around the rest of the world. We want to ensure we have a good trade agreement with the European Union, and thats what we will be starting to negotiate. We want to ensure we have good Security Partnership with the European Union as i set out in detail in my speech in munich last week. But we also want to ensure that this country takes the opportunities that will be open just outside the European Union to boost our economy to ensure were developing the coming of the future, the jobs for the future, more high paid, high skilled jobs for the people in this country. We are putting theut people fir. Mr. Speaker, in december the fourth secretary and the environment secretary or briefing that the working time directive would be scrapped. The cbi and the unions are very clear theyre not looking for a bonfire of regulations, quite thee opposite. The only party that wants to scrap workers regulations of protections are the party opposite. [shouting] in her lancaster house speech a year ago, the Prime Minister clearly stated, i also want terrorist free trade with europe. Now a year on tariff shift entry that to a tariff free as possible. Businesses and workers want tariff free access to protect jobs so why have the government abandoned that for as tariff free as possible . I have to say to the what, jim the government has not abandon this negotiating position. We will be ensuring we get that good, praise a trade agreement, Economic Partnership, with the European Union. He also mentions workers rights. Ive been clearar since i became Prime Minister that this government will not only protect workers rights but enhance workers rights. Lets just look at the conservatives record in government. Who was it can which government was it that took action on zero hours contracts . A conservative government, not labour. Which government is it, i got Matthew Taylor to report on the new economy so we ensure workers get the highest rights . I conservative government, not labour. Which government is it that is ensuring workers voices are heard on the boards of companies . I conservative government, not labour. Jeremy corbyn. I dont know if you get a chance toi read the Daily Telegraph today but 62 over backbenchers want a bonfire of regulations, want to destroy workers rights in this country. When the governments you exit analysis was published, the brexit minister said it does not consider our desired outcome. Could the Prime Minister take this opportunity now to tell the house and the country what is the governments desired outcome . Im very happy to. A bespoke Economic Partnership. Okay. So given that try mens Prime Minister ruled out any Customs Union union post brexit, canan e she explain how she expects then to avoid a hard border with Northern Ireland . The right honorable gentleman has asked this question president i pointed out in this chamber the government published papers last summer which shows how we can deliver exactly that, no hard border between Northern Island and the republic of ireland and a bespoke Economic Partnership with the European Union. Well, the foreign secretary recently made a speech about brexit and he found time to mention carrots, spam, stag parties and a plague of boils you are not one mention of Northern Ireland in his speech. Mr. Speaker, we are halfway [shouting] we are halfwayth through calm your self. Its not good for your health. Its only t wednesday. You have the rest of the week to get to the im try to help you. You should appreciate my kindness. We are halfway through the six speeches were told would set up the governments negotiating position. So far all we have is waffle and empty rhetoric. Businesses need to know, people want to know even her backbenchers are demanding to know. But it isnt clear from todays exchanges, this government isnt on the road to brexit, mr. Speaker, its on the road to nowhere. Prime minister. [shouting] i think i think, i think i have mentioned to the right honorable job and before that his job is actually to ask a question, but, you know [shouting] im perfectly happy [shouting] im perfectly happy to respond to the point that he made. He said that we have not set out in detail. Can i suggest to him that he needs to think very carefully about the Security Partnership that we want with the European Union when we have left . I set out in my speech in munich last week exactly what we want thats a Good Partnership to cover, because we believe in ensuring that we are maintaining the security and safety of people here in the uk, but also people in europe. We are unconditionally committed to the safety and security of europe. Can i congratulate the right honorable gentleman because normally he stands up every week and asked me to sign a blank check. I know he likes czechs, but really that is terribly depressing. [laughing] kevin foster. Thank you, mr. Speaker. [singing] [shouting] thank you, mr. Speaker. My constituent Evelyn Fisher was killed when a car mounted the pavement with test that after the incident indicating the driver had an undiagnosed medical condition which would need to h be assessed by the ddl to be detected before. What you doesnt Prime Minister Current Assessment rules were when showing those d driving licenses are fit to drive . Can tennessee to my honorable friend that he has made an important point because it is absolute crucial. Of course we want to ensure that people who are driving our axis it to drive and i know the sympathies of not just but ill defend but the whole of this house will be with her family and friends. The current driver license system is designed to balance the needs of road safety for those of the individual all drivers must inform dvla if you have a medical condition which may affect the driving and should discuss any concernsec ty have with their own medical professions. We do take this seriously and we are committed to ensuring that those who are granted a driving license on those who are fit to drive. Dian blackford. Thank you, mr. Speaker. At least 194 people have been killed in the last 48 hours in eastern guida. Can the Prime Minister tell the house what discussions her government has had with u. N. Colleagues on enforcing existing u. N. Resolutions calling for into civilian areas and attacks on civilians . Can i say to the gym and he has raised an important issue and we are all appalled by the escalation of airstrikes and give the concerned by reports that a been coming through as ongoing deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructures. This is in blatant violation of International Humanitarian and human rights law and we certainly do you call on the regime and its backers to cease this campaign of violence. They should respect International Metro law, protect civilians and allow refugee and other Community Access because there is concern that i think its Something Like 700 people who need medical evacuation are being refused that evacuation by the regime. We will be continuing to work withth the u. N. And the u. N. Geneva led process. I which is said the u. N. Envoy has our full support in the work hes doing to try to bring into find it a political solution for syria. Ian blackford. Can i think the Prime Minister for the answer. The bombing isns relentless. Doctors on the ground are treating pregnant women and babies have lost limbs. Its estimated that well over 100 children have been killed since sunday. The u. N. Has issued desperate pleas calling for political intervention stating this, no words will do justice to the children killed, their mothers, their fathers and their loved ones. Will the Prime Minister show leadership and join me in calling for an urgent meeting of the u. N. Security council to address the horrific genocide unfolding in syria . The United Nations has called on governments around the world to call out the action that has been taken and to be ready to stand up against that action. That is exactly what this government is doing. We willan be ensuring that we wl be talking to our colleagues within the United Nations to ensure that the best possible approach that can be taken in relation to these issues, but its not just about the Syrian Government. Its about the backers of the Syrian Government as well. We call on all their backers including russia to ensure that this violence stops and that those people are in need of help are given that help. Chris green. Thank you, mr. Speaker. Manufacturing and invading in uk for nearly 200 years, including its factory in west horton at the heart of my constituents. The only British Company bidding to produce our new passports, the other two being french. Salama right honorable friend commit to doing all she can to support our manufactures, our innovators, and making our new blue passport truly british . Can i i say to my friend im sure hes aware this will be an open and fair competition that i cant, on in the debates but it sure he will make his voice heard. But it m is right from august 19 will issue new blue and gold passports which has always been the you case covers the choice our passport and i think would be absolutely right that after we leave the European Union we return to deciding the color of passports that we want, not what the European Union wants. Thank you, mr. Speaker. My constituent, claire throssell, suffered a terrible tragedy when her two children were murdered by their father and it arson attack on the familynd home. This brave woman has since dedicated herself to campaigning for better protection for victims of Domestic Violence from the family courts and from the various Public Services concern. Can ask the Prime Minister with is the Domestic Violence bill going to be published . Will be as comprehensive as she promised when she announced the intention to legislate . Our thoughts are with the honorableou lady following this terrible tragedy that she has been through. We do recognize the need to ensure that we are providing support for victims of Domestic Violence it as she sat into the are many aspects to this issue. The home secretary before she brings forward legislation will be issuing a consultation because of what to ensure that we listen to all those have been affected so that we are dealing with all the aspects of this particular issue. This government is committed to working to support the victims of Domestic Violence, but also working to ensure in the violence against women and girls. Andrea jenkins. Thank you, mr. Speaker. I recently visited a memory caee in my constituency. The cafe is open to individuals and their carers and helps to provide support for the memory loss. The dedication of the volunteers, i will be hosting my own Memory Center which will enable local residents the opportunity to speak about issues affecting their lives. What the Prime Minister take this opportunity to update the house with the government is doing to help them with dementia and congratulate the hardworking cares of those suffering with his progressive edition . I very happy to join my friend in congratulating those mini for looking after people with dementia and also the volunteers whoti provide servics both for people with dementia and for their carers. We are working with partners across the whole system to ensure working with dementia than ever before receive a diagnosis to raise awareness co
